MIDNIGHT RETURN DOCUMENTARY NEWS

After sound designing and mixing feature documentary "Midnight Return" in 5.1 and in stereo, on and off for the last 6 months at Tab Sound Design, we put the finishing touches on the big stage at Monkeyland Audio this week in preparation for the U.S Premiere (02/12/16) at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016/ JANUARY SCHEDULE

SCHEDULE:
-Scheduled to complete M&E mix and other foreign deliverables on faith-based feature film entitled "Pass The Light," which we sound designed and mixed a couple of years ago, and had a national limited theatrical release at Carmike Theaters (about 150 screens) in 2015.


-Scheduled to begin sound design on feature film entitled "Illicit," directed by Corey Grant (Dysfunctional Friends, Sister Code), produced by Chevez Frazier, starring David Ramsey, Shireen Crutchfield, McKinley Freeman, Michele Weaver, Lanett Tachel, Dionne Gipson, Dean Cain, Vivica A. Fox and many others.

NEWS:
-Feature film entitled "Texas Heart," which we sound designed and mixed won the jury award at the Alburquerque Film Festival this past weekend.  It was written by Nick Feild and Daniel Blake Smith, and directed by Mark David.  The film stars Lin Shaye, John Savage, Erik Fellows, Daniela Bobadilla, Johnny Dowers, Jeff Lorch, Blake Clark and many others.

-Feature documentary entitled "Midnight Return," which we sound designed and mixed will be premiering at the Santa Barbara Film Festival this February.  It was written and directed by Sally Sussman and edited by Sean Fanton.  The doc explores the enduring and emotional power of film as seen through the lens of the blockbuster success, "Midnight Express."  It stars Billy Hayes as himself.
